How do I schedule my first session?

Use the booking link below to schedule a free 20 minute introduction call - an opportunity to discuss why you would like to come to counselling and whether we are a good fit. I will also explain the various options available - online, in-person, telephone or walk and talk.


Payments

Payments are due in advance of the session and can be made through the booking portal. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or if you would like to send you a Stripe invoice please let me know.


Do you accept insurance?

I operate on a private-pay model to keep our sessions flexible and confidential. Upon request, I can provide a bill you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance about counsellor requirements.


What technology do I need for online counselling?

Any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone will work. Our platform is HIPAA-compliant and easy to access through your browser—no downloads required.


How often are the counselling sessions?

To get the most benefit from therapy, once a week is usual. If you needs are different please mention this when we have our initial chat.

What is my cancellation policy?

Life is full of surprises - so if you are not able to make your appointment please let me know as soon as possible. A 50% session fee will be charged for all appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the planned appointment. This cancellation rate would need to be paid in order to continue with therapy. If you have already paid I will refund the appropiate amount.


Are the number of sessions limited?

No. If you would prefer a set number of sessions, please let me know.
